The Process

How It Works

From identification to recovery — a clear, straightforward process with no obligation and no upfront cost.
01
WE LOCATE YOU

When oil and gas operators drill a unit in Oklahoma, they are required by law to deposit unpaid bonuses and royalties for any owner they cannot locate into a state-administered escrow account. These funds are held indefinitely by the Oklahoma Corporation Commission.

We work through these records carefully and reach out to the people we believe they belong to. If you receive a letter or email from us, it means our research suggests there are funds in escrow connected to your name or your family.

What this means for you
You don't need to do anything yet. If we've reached out, it's because our records suggest a connection.
02
We Explain Your Options

Once we’ve made contact, we’ll walk you through where the rights are and how much we believe is connected to your interest.

At this point you have two options: work with us or pursue the claim independently through the Oklahoma Corporation Commission.

No obligation
There is never a fee for the initial conversation. If you decide to go it alone, we wish you well.
03
We Handle the Process

If you choose to work with us, we handle everything: the research, the paperwork, and coordinating with the OCC on your behalf. You stay informed at every step without having to navigate the process yourself.

Our fee is a straightforward percentage of what we recover. You pay nothing upfront and nothing unless we succeed. The process typically takes several weeks to several months depending on the complexity of the claim and the responsiveness of state agencies.

04
You Get Paid

Once the claim is approved and the OCC releases the funds, we collect them, keep our fixed percentage, and disburse the remainder — the majority — to you.

Beyond the escrow recovery, you may also have ongoing mineral interests that continue to generate royalties. We can help you understand those interests and what they mean for you going forward.

What happens next
Your mineral interests don't disappear after recovery. If there are active wells in your section, you may be entitled to ongoing royalty payments. We can help connect you with the right resources to manage those interests.
Common Questions

Things people ask us

Is this a scam?

We understand the skepticism. Unsolicited contact about money you didn’t know about sounds suspicious. We encourage you to verify our company independently — check the Texas Secretary of State, look us up online, and call us directly. We will never ask for personal financial information or payment upfront.

How do you know I have mineral rights?

Oklahoma Corporation Commission records are public. Through careful research, we identify owners who appear to have funds held in escrow on their behalf and reach out to let them know.

Can I do this myself?

Absolutely you can do this yourself. The process can be complicated, but it is absolutely doable by an individual. We simply offer to handle it for you in exchange for a percentage of the recovery.

What does it cost?

You pay nothing upfront. Our fee is a percentage of what we successfully recover on your behalf. If we don’t recover anything, you owe nothing. Full fee details are provided in our service agreement before you commit to anything.

How long does the process take?

It varies by claim complexity. Simple claims with clear ownership can be resolved in a few weeks. Claims involving heirship, probate, or complex title chains may take several months. We keep you informed throughout and there are no deadlines or pressure.
